Wisconsin Golf – Tee Time Sisterhood: How Eagle River built Wisconsin’s largest women’s golf league over the past 50-plus years
Every Tuesday afternoon during golf season, women from across northern Wisconsin gather in Eagle River not just to play, but to laugh, connect and carry on a tradition that’s more than five decades in the making. What began in 1972 as a small group of about 10 women has grown into the Eagle River Ladies Golf League, now the largest women’s golf league in Wisconsin with 86 members in 2025.
